Okay, so, Abuja yesterday. Bit of a… kerfuffle.

Wike, FCT Minister – you know, the former Rivers governor – yeah, he got stopped. Like, stopped stopped. By soldiers. In Gaduwa, over some land. Wild, right?

Apparently, tensions – they escalated. That’s the word the big news outlets are using. “Tensions escalated.” Sounds fancy, but basically? A shouting match, I think. A pretty public one, too. Over a parcel of land.

Thing is, Wike and his people, they were trying to access it. And the soldiers, well, they weren’t having it. Blocking the whole entourage.

Now, I wasn’t there, obviously, but Silverbird reported one official with Wike going off: “This is unprofessional. You cannot be threatening a minister like this.” Which, I mean, if true… kind of intense. Imagine being that soldier. Talk about your bad days at work.
