This allows for text translation or summarization directly on your machine, sidestepping the need for API credits. Data privacy is another key benefit.
It’s not just about local models, though. The upgrade extends support to include Azure OpenAI, Gemini, and Mistral, broadening the choices beyond just OpenAI. They’ve even tweaked the user interface, adding a preview of the clipboard content and a convenient model selection dropdown.
