Okay, so, military veterans. Right. They’re not happy. A coalition – a coalition – of Nigerian military veterans, well, they’re calling on Nyesom Wike… who is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, by the way… to apologize. To a naval officer. For, allegedly, abusive language.
Look, I guess we’ve all been there, haven’t we? Said something we regret? But this is different. This is a minister and a… naval officer. And veterans are involved.
The veterans, they, uh, they really want an apology. I mean, they urge Wike to apologize. It’s pretty strong wording, you know? It says something. Especially coming from that kind of group, that community. It’s not something they would just say.
The article itself, it notes that the veterans want Wike to say sorry. To say sorry for the “abusive language” he used. Apparently, during some kind of recent confrontation. Between the two men. It was “during an enforcement” – whatever that means, exactly. Or maybe it was an enforcement of something? I’m not totally clear on that bit, admittedly.
