This Saturday, the Daily Star is offering readers a comprehensive, free Christmas television listings guide, packed with seasonal highlights to ensure no festive viewing is missed. The supersized “Hot TV” magazine promises a 14-day overview of programming, designed to help audiences navigate the extensive holiday schedules.

The guide will feature key programmes airing on Christmas Day, including the highly anticipated “Strictly Christmas” special. Celebrities such as Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt, Gladiator Jodie Ounsley (Fury), actor Nicholas Bailey, comedian Babatunde Aléshé, and singers Brian McFadden and Melanie Blatt are set to compete.

Viewers can also look forward to “Call The Midwife” on Christmas Day, which will see the team travel to Hong Kong to assist at a mission house, while Trixie remains in Poplar for a festive street parade. Fans of “Absolutely Fabulous” will be delighted by a special appearance from Jennifer Saunders alongside Joanna Lumley in “Amandaland.”

Children’s programming is also catered for, with “The Scarecrow’s Wedding,” based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, set to air. The animated special features a voice cast including Rob Brydon, Jessie Buckley, and Domhnall Gleeson.

Christmas Eve will bring “Finding Father Christmas” on Channel 4, starring “Inbetweeners” actor James Buckley as a father on a mission to prove Santa’s existence to his son, played by Lennie Rush. Festive editions of popular shows like “All Creatures Great and Small” and “Death in Paradise” are also confirmed.

Beyond Christmas, the guide looks ahead to New Year’s programming, highlighting major dramas such as Harlan Coben’s “Run Away” on Netflix and the return of ITV’s “Red Eye.” The enduringly popular “The Night Manager” will be rebroadcast on New Year’s Day, and viewers can catch the latest instalment of “The Traitors” alongside the finale of “Stranger Things.”
