Barendrecht’s town hall will operate under adjusted hours during the upcoming Christmas and New Year’s holidays, the municipality announced. Residents planning to visit official offices should note the specific schedule changes to avoid disappointment.
The town hall will close early on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24th, with counters available to the public only until 1:00 PM. This allows staff and residents to prepare for the festive celebrations.
Following this, both Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th, and Boxing Day, Friday, December 26th, will see the town hall completely closed. This closure is in observance of the national Christmas holiday.
As the year draws to a close, the town hall will again offer reduced hours on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31st. The offices will be accessible from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on this day.
However, the new year will begin with a full closure of the town hall. On Thursday, January 1st, New Year’s Day, no services will be available at the municipal offices. Normal operating hours are expected to resume thereafter.
These temporary adjustments are a standard practice for municipal services during major public holidays. The municipality advises residents to plan their visits accordingly and to check the official website for any further updates or specific departmental information.
