Okay, so about the Anambra election, Chioma Ifemeludike, who ran for governor with the AAC, feels she won, even though Soludo did.
INEC’s numbers showed she only got 292 votes. Soludo from APGA, took the lead with a huge 422,664 votes. The APC candidate, Nicholas Ukachukwu, came in second, grabbing 99,445 votes, if you recall.
But Ifemeludike went to X and said that those 292 votes were actually a win for her. It wasn’t about the votes, but about sticking to her principles, she implied. “Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception. I’m a winner!” That’s what she posted.
She got noticed during the campaign because of her unique photos and videos. She seemed happy with how she did, saying her campaign was fair.
She believes her run highlighted how crucial honesty, bravery, and ethical politics can be, especially when you’re up against the bigger parties.
