Chibudom Nwuche, Chairman of the South South Development Commission (SSDC), has revealed that the Ekpeye people of Ahoada East Local Government Area in Rivers State will continue their unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. This commitment stems from what the community perceives as significant development and inclusive leadership demonstrated by Wike and the current federal administration. Speaking at a thanksgiving service held at his country home in Ochigba Community, Nwuche, a former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, highlighted the tangible benefits the Ekpeye people have experienced under Wike’s leadership over the years. Before now, we only had one. Governors came and left; none elevated our stools except Wike. Power is meant to edify people, to elevate them, not to oppress them or destroy their homes. Nobody who follows Wike can say that he hasn’t been impacting positively. That’s why, no matter where he goes, we shall follow,” stated Nwuche, underscoring the deep loyalty inspired by Wike’s actions.
