Alan Carr: “Celebrity Traitors” Star Saves Friend from Knife Attack
Alan Carr, the icon from “Celebrity Traitors,” is being celebrated as a true hero! Word is, the comedian jumped into action and, get this, saved his friend’s life.
The “Chatty Man” apparently rescued actress Cleo Rocos from a knife-wielding assailant. Rocos, known for “The Kenny Everett Television Show,” recounted the terrifying event to The Sun. It happened while they were vacationing in Morocco.
The two pals were out enjoying a night in Marrakesh when suddenly, a stranger grabbed Cleo. He was waving a knife around! At first, she actually thought it was a joke. “I pushed him away, but he just grabbed me even tighter,” Cleo remembers, “and in broken English, he’s telling me he wants to be with me.”
“We didn’t take him seriously until he pulled out the knife. It must have been ten inches long!” she added.
That’s when Alan stepped up. Cleo remembers him being surprisingly calm. He positioned himself between her and the attacker. “Most people would’ve been terrified, but Alan, he was just… calm,” she marveled.

According to the Mirror, Alan then told the man, “Don’t be so rude!”
Before the guy could react, Alan swatted the knife right out of his hand! “He wasn’t expecting that, and I was just shocked,” Cleo recounted. They quickly made their escape, constantly looking back, wondering if the man would come after them.
Alan, she said, “really knocked the wind out of” the attacker. “He didn’t punch him or anything. He just disarmed him. He was so brave, the way he handled it.”
Cleo believes she owes Alan her life. Things could have turned out much differently, she acknowledged, “That night could’ve gone terribly wrong. But Alan? He handled it so decisively; he literally saved my life!”
