It’s a short clip, really, not much to it. But in it, Yerima is… how do I put it? He’s just totally unfazed. Wike’s, you know, doing his Wike thing, and Yerima is just… there. Composed. It’s hard to explain. He didn’t get all flustered, didn’t back down. And honestly, Nigerians are loving it.

Apparently, the video, where Yerima is, you know, “holding his ground firmly while engaging with Minister Wike”—that’s the quote everyone’s using—it just struck a chord. I guess people are tired of seeing folks get pushed around? Or maybe it’s just the whole David-and-Goliath vibe.

Anyway, social media is, predictably, blowing up. Everyone’s got an opinion. Let’s see, some of the comments…

Like, keeneeken wrote: “@hqnigerianarmy e deserves a promotion 🙌:” See, people are really impressed.

And then tdmo2024 said: “This one of the few gallant soldiers now everyone do ur job . You only respond to President not politicians.” Which, you know, is a whole other discussion about the military and politics. But I guess the point is, stay neutral?

Then there’s this one: ngoziamonidiala commented: “He’s so handsome.” Which, okay, fair enough.

bunmbunmshowayaola chimed in with: “I am not a fool sir. Good officer. 🙌🙌😍” Referencing something said in the video, I think?

amehseal231, though, took a different tack: “Werey think say na by age. 😂😂😂” Bit harsh, maybe?

And oluwasharonn brought up a valid point, honestly: “Make them no transfer him go forest ooo.” Which is, like, a real concern in Nigeria, you know? That whistleblowers and people who ruffle feathers get shipped off to some remote posting. Let’s hope not.
